After 20 plus years of weightlifting some were along the line I injured my shoulder- rotator cuff. Beginning of 2024 I noticed that I was not able to achieve simple task such as stirring soup in a pot to reaching for volume knob on the radio in my car. I decided to seek out a doctor who would diagnose my shoulder and restore my ability to function again, I found Dr. Leathers Jr. He is awesome he listens and he answers questions. Surgery/recovery/ PT went well looking forward to getting back in the gym. I totally recommend Dr. Leathers.

This is just an update on a review i left a while back. After replacing both my knees in 2022, and having great results, I can say that they keep getitng better every year. I no longer even think about my knees when i am out and about - they feel real.... I stil need a pad when i have to kneel on a hard surface - but thay me be normal for 70 years old!

Less than a year ago, my quality of life drastically improved, thanks to Dr. Michael P. Leathers. He gave me more than just a new hip; he gave me the chance to create more memories with my kids, regain pain-free mobility, and take care of my emotional and mental health through movement and exercise.
We explored alternative options to a total hip replacement. When those failed to relieve the pain and discomfort, Dr. Leathers took the time to discuss the pros, cons, and risks associated with the procedure in great detail. He carefully walked me through the surgery itself and expectations for recovery.
His team—especially Tanya at the front desk—showed incredible patience and responsiveness, promptly answering every question I had.
He is a skilled and knowledgeable surgeon who treats his patients with kindness and respect. I highly recommend Dr. Leathers to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon and would return as a patient without hesitation (though I hope I won’t need to).

I am now 75 years old. I had suffered from a great deal of pain in my right shoulder for many years due to numerous injuries. I had a broken tendon, a worn out rotator cuff, and arthritis in my shoulder. Especially during this past year, the only relief I could get was with strong pain medications. My condition required a reverse total shoulder replacement.
Dr Leathers performed the surgery six weeks ago (at the time of this writing). After the first week, I no longer needed any pain medication. I will begin physical therapy this week. The pain is gone and my range of motion is already improving, even before the physical therapy.
I am so happy with the results of this surgery. I am also forever grateful for the technology available today, and especially for Dr Leathers expertise and skill as a surgeon for giving me a new pain free shoulder.

Dr. Leathers is the best! He fixed my right shoulder, it's like new. I suffered a terrible injury that tore three tendons. I couldn't even use my right arm to lift my pants! It was a horrific painful injury. Thanks to Dr Leathers I can pull up my pants, I can reach behind my back to strap on my bra. I am pain free. Thank you Dr Leathers!
Dr. Leathers is definitely the best :)

It is 8 weeks post surgery which involved a distal bicep tendon reattachment to the left radius. Although the first 4 to 5 weeks were an expected slow rehab with range of motion and pronation/supination exercises, these last 3 to 4 weeks have shown remarkable progress with essentially full range of motion. This will still take another 4 months or longer for a full and complete return of arm strength. The foregoing is designed to inform patients what to expect and that this type of surgery is worth the time and effort when you have a professional like Dr Leathers to bring you along step by step with his skill, knowledge, care and understanding. You can trust in the process with Dr Leathers to perform the surgery and then monitor your rehabilitation to the end. Thank you, Dr Leathers.

Dr Leathers is a true professional. Listens to concerns and addresses each one before and after the surgery. Spends the needed time you need to get all your answers. If I eventually have to have my other hip replaced, I will definitely have Dr Leathers perform the surgery.

I was nervous about the whole procedure. Dr.Leathers made the whole experience well worth what little pain I did have. The end result has been great to be able to walk with no pain. Dr. Leathers had been very supportive and encouraging. When the time comes I would have him do surgery on my other knee.

Dr. Leathers performed a complete shoulder replacement in February on me. This was my 8th shoulder surgery on this arm, (Dr. Leathers 1st on me). There were numerous issues including very limited movement, severe arthritis, pain in all movements, and he took it on. He was very honest on what to expect, and very thorough in the pluses and minuses. I am beyond words on how this has changed my life. No more pain, I am almost at full range in every direction (still in therapy). I am grateful to have had him perform my surgery. Excellent surgeon. Thank you Dr. Leathers.

Front desk staff was great. Dr Leathers answered any questions we asked and surgery to put a screw in a broken medial epicondyal went great.
